As the director of Basic Education for Adults, she has extensive experience facilitating language skill development for beginner to advanced learners worldwide, including immigrants and higher education students alike. Her expertise spans a range of related fields, such as grammar, pronunciation, writing, reading, speaking, and listening, making her a well-rounded education specialist. Karen has taught at various institutions, including universities and community colleges, both in the US and abroad. She has also led an English camp for children and taught English teacher training courses to other teachers. Karen is an expert in curriculum development, education administration, student advising, marketing, and recruitment, with a proven track record of successful program management. She played an instrumental role in developing a significant program at LWTECH called I-BEST. Karen's education includes a Master of Arts degree from Columbia International University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
