Akshay Chandrasekhar

Akshay Chandrasekhar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience across various sectors and functions. He has worked in venture investing, general management, consulting, strategic planning, and execution, among other areas. With a focused, solution-oriented approach, Akshay uses first principles, pattern recognition, data, and intuition to make informed business decisions. He is enthusiastic about technological developments and enjoys working with early stage ventures and teams. Currently, Akshay holds a position as an Investment Director at Elevar Equity and manages an exciting portfolio across agriculture, education, fintech, and livelihoods.

Regarding his education, Akshay holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IIM Bangalore and completed an International Exchange Term at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He also holds a B.Tech in Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

In addition to his current role, Akshay has also worked as a Program Manager at Amazon, a Senior Manager at Alvarez & Marsal, a Supply Chain Management Intern at ITC Limited, and an Associate, Fixed Income Structuring at Nomura.
