Edrex Fontanilla
Edrex Fontanilla, an accomplished educator and new media artist, has amassed over a decade of experience as a lecturer, manager, and assistant professor in institutions such as Brown University, Community College of Rhode Island, Marymount Manhattan College, and St. John's University. With a passion for exploring the intersections between psychology, embodied cognition, and experimental media, his creative practice merges sculptural and computational approaches, culminating in the creation of immersive experiences. Fontanilla holds a Master of Arts degree in Computer Music and Multimedia Composition as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing Digital Media from Brown University. He has long been committed to a reflective teaching approach that inspires and develops the voices of his students as they explore the diverse facets of their own creative potential.
