Katja Degonda
Katja Degonda is a dedicated individual with a strong educational background in fine arts and environmental sciences. She pursued her Matura with a major in fine arts at Kantonsschule Wiedikon, followed by an MSc in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zürich with majors in Biogeochemistry and pollutant dynamics as well as Forest and landscape management. Additionally, she completed a BSc in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zürich with a major in Biogeochemistry.
Katja has gained valuable experience working in various organizations, showcasing her skills and expertise. She served as a Startup-Manager at KAIR / KIASI, and previously held positions as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich and Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL, as well as a Wissenschaftliche Assistentin / Praktikantin at Agroscope & Ithaka Institute. Her professional journey also includes time as a Research Assistant in the Sustainable Agroecosystem Group at ETH Zürich and a Student Internship at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University. Before her research roles, Katja explored different jobs in the catering and agricultural domains at gastro.jobs.
