Brock Bearss

Brock Bearss is an accomplished nanotechnology and electrical engineering professional with a diverse background in process engineering, semiconductor devices, and microfabrication techniques. Bearss earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo, followed by a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. With a focus on MEMS, MOSFETs, FinFETs, and characterization techniques like SEM, AFM, XRD, ellipsometry, and FTIR/Raman, Brock has a wealth of experience in the field. Additionally, he is well-versed in analytical and problem-solving techniques and is a speed-solving Rubik's cube enthusiast with a best time of 39 seconds.

Previously, Bearss has held research assistant positions at the National Research Council Canada, Iogen Corporation, Health Canada, and the National Research Council Canada, where he worked on quantum computing, process technology, radiation research, and organic electronics. He was also a nanotechnology business database manager at Industry Canada. Most recently, as a MEMS product application engineer at Analog Devices, Brock has contributed his expertise to one of the leading semiconductor companies in the world.
