In the role as Head of Solutions I am responsible for the delivery of all IT solutions to the Business Area "Consumer and Technical Services" in Falck. This area covers our Healthcare and roadside assistance subscriptions as well as technical services related to health and safety. My organization consist of +50 people organized in 5 core teams mainly located in Denmark and Poland.

Before going on maternity leave I transitioned out of my old job and into this role where I supported the CIO with the transition of Global IT to an agile Operating Model. I facilitated and coordinated the work across different workstreams of the roll out and headed communication and change management efforts.

I centralised the core global BI development functions in Falck. .

Key achievements:
- A new common operating model, target architecture and joint backlog was established and implemented for the centralised team.
- I have build-up a vendor delivered BI setup in Poland that act as a scalable and cost-efficient addition to the team.
- A community for all PowerBI developers has been established along with basic governance structures for securing alignment and optimisation of our use of PowerBI and our Premium Capacity.
- Stakeholder and employee satisfaction has been kept high in a time of change

Director, Head of BI Solutions

I headed the rebuild and transformation of BI in Falck Assistance.

Key achievements:
- In 1,5 year I established a new BI organization, a vision for the area, a roadmap for where we were heading and a basic data foundation for the organization to rely on. 
- We initiated Falcks BI journey in the cloud and established an agile and tool supported development and release cycle based on AzureDevops. 
- We enabled both Operation and the Commercial departments to become data driven by delivering dashboards and cubes that allowed them to use data on a daily basis to understand and optimize the way they work. 
- Our department was highlighted as a key enabler for the efficiencies and cost savings delivered by our Operation department
- My employee engagement score was significantly above external benchmark and Falck in general
- I headed a centralisation agenda that materialised in the roll out of PowerBI Premium in Falck and a general centralisation of BI in Falck

Head of BI & Insight

I was Head of the Analytical Foundation Team in Retail Banking Planning & Control. 
The team was a cross Nordic team which consisted of 9 employees spread across the 4 Nordic countries (3 in DK, 2 in NO, 2 in SE and 2 in Finland).

Our main area of responsibility was to support local banking units with analytical insight. In addition to this our team was also responsible for delivering data to Nordic initiatives and to establish infrastructure which other analytical resources could benefit from.

Key achievements: 
- developing team from being 4 local analysts to one Nordic team of 9 analysts. 
- establishment of BI infrastructure and competences (Qliksense)
- improvement of compliance in working with data
- structuring the defect and improvement process enabling a more useful Datawarehouse.
- creation of a Nordic customer definition

Head of Analytical Foundation

Platon was an information management consultancy house which was purchased by Deloitte and integrated as a new service line within Deloitte Consulting to provide consultancy services within information management. 

As a consultant for Platons’ customers I acted as a link between business and IT defining requirements and business processes that helped companies transform their information into a competitive advantage. 

My role in projects varied from being a sparring partner to management, the project manager of project teams and a data/process analyst.

I was the focal point for global cost related development and coordination. I ensured that there was one set of numbers, full visibility and easy accessibility to different departments’ performance, enabling follow up and action to be taken when required. In addition to this I was also a key driver and initiator of various global optimisation projects

Business Performance Manager - Operation Execution

I successfully established the Latin America Cost Control department in Panama and initiated the optimization of cost control by centralizing 15 country cost control functions into one area function. I had 8 direct reports and a spend to control of 600 Million USD.

Cost Control Manager

My primary role was to act as an ambassador for cost leadership in Latin America. In that role I set up a drive for cost awareness and proposed cost saving initiatives. In addition to this role I was also responsible for performing the monthly cost control of port expenses for South and Central America.

Cost Leadership Supervisor

I was a part of a specialist team focused on improving Maersk Lines profitability by focusing on yield performance. I developed and created analysis for different departments pin-pointing future obstacles and areas which could be optimized. Examples of areas in which I have driven yield optimization: Inland pricing, feedering, vessel management and customer specific contracting.

Yield Analyst

I assisted in setting up and improving the internal reporting, assisted in the analysis needed for optimizing our vessel network, did various analysis on route P&Ls and coordinated most of the 2007 Global Key Client tenders on behalf of the Latin America and Intra American Routes.

I acted as commercially responsible for the logistics system M*Prove. I facilitated the estimate and budget process for all key clients as well as top direct sales clients. I assisted in various projects and analysis in regards to developing import export logistics and I reported and followed up on the development in new business.
