Machinery Commissioning Lead - Yellowtail ONE GUYANA project

FPSO topsides machinery engineer for the 250 kbd, USD 10 billion Yellowtail project.
•	Responsible for design, procurement, and fabrication, of topsides machinery packages for  FPSO scope, ~USD 50 million value. Included API and non-API pumps in varying services (including seawater lift and high pressure BB5s), liquid ring compressor, and screw compressor packages. Relief for lead engineer on gas turbine generators, turbine compressors, and other high speed motor compressors
•	Led discipline input into datasheet and spec development, technical bid evaluations, bid clarifications, purchase recommendations, deviations, spare and purchase evaluations, and various project reviews ( HAZID / HAZOP, 3D model, mechanical handling)
•	Led FPSO procurement surveillance, developing and implementing risk-based procurement surveillance plan across multi-discipline FPSO team

Machinery Engineer - Yellowtail ONE GUYANA Project

•	Responsible for design, procurement, and fabrication, of topsides machinery packages for Payara FPSO projects. Scope included API and non-API pumps in varying services (including seawater lift and high pressure BB5s). Relief for lead engineer on gas turbine generators, turbine compressors, and other motor compressors
•	Led package procurement surveillance, developing and implementing risk-based procurement surveillance plan across multi-discipline FPSO team

Machinery Engineer - Payara Prosperity Project

Business planner with focus cash opex and staffing business segments, with additional year end corporate and US SEC reporting responsibilities. 
•	Led development of 5-year country plan – aligning stakeholders from 20+ business segments to develop outlook for capital projects, capex, production volumes, opex, and earnings, aligned with corporate and country level objectives 
•	Operationalized opex reduction campaign, developing opportunity identification and stewardship process to deliver 104 MUSD in savings in response to deteriorating market conditions
•	Coordinated corporate governance processes to generate reliable KPIs for decision making, including monthly and quarterly opex and staffing stewardship and U.S. SEC annual filings.  SEC filings audited twice by 3rd party auditors with no findings.

•	Supported transition of in-house machinery RM&D program, porting non-critical surveillance to a high value engineering center in India, capturing cost and execution efficiencies

Machinery Surveillance Engineer

Seconded to RasGas as lead machinery engineer for 3x LNG trains (a combined 14.25 MTA LNG production), and the acid gas injection unit
•	Responsible for reliable and cost-efficient operation of unit machinery to enable production, including extensive involvement with GE Fr 7EAs, Fr5s, Elliot refrigeration compressors, and DLN combustion systems
•	Provided discipline expertise to lead execution of various maintenance and reliability elements, including – failure analyses, bad actor identification, risk assessments, machinery performance surveillance and condition monitoring, spares and stock level reviews, and equipment strategy review / optimization.
•	Discipline lead in RBWS for maintenance and shutdown work planning in asset, as well as for field engineering support during major inspection of 7 GTs
•	Led RCFA for complex DLN combustion problem, eliminating recurring and unplanned production downturns and accelerated fired hours cycles

Machinery Engineer - RasGas

Onsite construction engineer coordinated multi-discipline construction and commissioning of 27 critical utility sub-systems. Responsibilities included  resolving misalignments between materials, craft labor, and construction sequencing to improve schedule. Included 6x Solar Titan gensets with 5x Heat Recovery Steam Generators 
•	Assigned as system owner for two early production initiatives, delivering on-time turnover of minimum kit for additional 50k barrels/day liquids production
•	Led review of subcontractor leak test plans, implementing risk-based change to allow testing through pumps. Reduced test campaign duration and eliminated 108 witness joints in a sour service facility. 
•	Provided oversight to pre-commission teams conducting pump cold alignments: tolerances, activity sequencing, methodology, and work prioritization per API RP 686
•	Mentored early career engineers on construction engineer / system owner role – use of project specifications, interpretation of P&IDs, best practices from prior project execution

Construction Engineer

Site engineering mechanical lead on $2 billion USD gas gathering and treatment plant, evaluating and endorsing RFIs, spec deviation requests, and test plans; witnessing and auditing equipment installations 
•	Construction area lead for 3 of 8 plant process units, System Owner for MEG, Heat Transfer Oil, Fuel Gas, Flare, and Chemicals systems. Led unit / system multi-discipline progress from bulk construction to startup. Drove closure of 1356 punchlist items in 4 months to support plant startup ahead of schedule
•	Commissioning and startup engineer for 3x GE Nuovo Pignone pipeline compressor packages with 21 MW LM2500 DLE G4+ aeroderivative gas turbine drivers and waste heat recovery. Coordinated safe completion of retrojetting and oil flushing campaigns, cause and effect testing, functional testing, quality audits, turbine first fire, DLE tuning, compressor cleanup runs, and mechanical acceptance runs. 
•	Conducted post-startup fitness for service evaluations of process piping vibration. Utilized frequency / amplitude analysis to determine acceptability and recommend mitigations. Trained other integrity engineers on setup and use of vibration analyzers and conducting analysis

Site Mechanical Engineering Lead

Machinery engineer in central engineering support organization, supporting global project portfolio and project implementation tools. Key tasks included:
•	Developing qualification program for subsea seal-less compression systems - identifying technical risks and mitigations for first-ever application of technology. Served as Company technical representative in billion dollar joint venture pilot testing program, witnessing testing and evaluating test reports to assess effectiveness of risk mitigations and system readiness for deployment 
•	Leading independent design audit of 2x 40 MW injection compressor trains for offshore Malaysia. 2x Rolls Royce barrel compressors with intermediate gearbox and RB211 gas turbine driver. Developed thermodynamic / fluid models of trains, independently verifying predicted head, power margin to surge, choke flow, and potential for rotating stall. Conducted level 1 and level 2 stability analysis and rotordynamic analysis per API 617-7
•	Facilitated cold-eyes execution readiness reviews of large capital projects in Angola, Nigeria, Canada, Abu Dhabi, and Norway, identify execution risks and cost saving opportunities
•	Executed annual recruiting program for Facilities Engineering group, identifying, vetting, and assimilating ~20 hires from a pool of 400+ applicants while ensuring conformance to government work authorization, privacy, and discrimination requirements
