Ed has reference ready successful exec search experience for leadership roles in sales, marketing, product mgmt/development, finance and GMs.Before engagement, Ed thoroughly assesses the assignment viability to determine where the desired skillset/experience is found. Will it require search outside the directly related industry into other related domains? How much will it cost to land the best? What is the primary/secondary search strategy?  Ed personally performs all initial approach calls to all prospects and sources, and originates differentiated introductory messages based on their profile and/or relationship to Ed. Many of the best candidates require expert motivation, and potential sources are more likely to refer good candidates to a professional they know or have many common connects with. If this critical phase of the exec search process is executed with high expertise, it results in generating more high quality candidates before the rest of the process reduces the field, and it will significantly increase the probability of success. Almost all other exec search entities delegate the majority of this time consuming critical phase of the process to less qualified staff.Ed closely collaborates with clients and candidates throughout the interview/evaluation process and often has close contacts that the candidate references, which can be very helpful in evaluating them.
