Santosh Rao is a senior product and technology leader with an extensive background in distributed systems, databases, AI/ML infrastructure, disaster recovery, and data protection. He has held various leadership roles in the server product lines of major tech companies like NetApp and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Santosh's experience includes founding new products, scaling up existing products to enterprise-grade, and transforming products to make them more accessible and useful. He has also studied Engineering Leadership at the University of California, Berkeley, and computer science engineering at the University of Mysore. Santosh is currently a Principal Product Management at Amazon Web Services, responsible for AWS RDS.
