Money Mover is a new kind of currency exchange and payments service. We started out with a simple idea - making currency exchange and international payments easy to understand and easy to do. I joined Money Mover in order to develop and manage a new partnerships channel. This is a broad role but my responsibilities include:- Creation and execution of partnerships strategy- Identifying and negotiating new partnerships- Day-to-day relationship management of partners, making recommendations of improvements to these relationships- Building effective long-term relationships- Maintain a detailed understanding of customer needs and partner trends and opportunities- Implement processes and controls that measure the effectiveness of the partnerships channel- Work with partners to develop business and marketing plans, agree targets, support and execution and conduct regular reviews to ensure we are on track with joint objectives-Development of plans that grow the scope and quality of partnerships in line with our strategic objectives- Stakeholder engagementInevitably, as an early stage business, my role has also included a number of other elements including:- General business strategy- Line Management- Ad hoc HR duties, including recruitment- Marketing content creation

We speak for more than 240,000 companies of every size, including many in the FTSE 100 and FTSE 350, mid-caps, SMEs, micro businesses, private and family owned businesses, start ups, and trade associations.My responsibilities included:• Managing the relationship with a portfolio of member companies to ensure that the CBI understood what they wanted from their membership, that they were satisfied with the relationship, and that CBI policy, both nationally and regionally, reflected their concerns. •Establishing relationships at a senior level with members (CEO, CFO, COO etc)•Developing a good understanding of those issues impacting on the competitiveness of CBI member companies and be able to articulate how the CBI can influence these policies to the benefit of members. •Gathering market intelligence to inform and shape policy.•Effectively communicating CBI policy positions and strategy to members, non-members, regional decision makers, and the media and by doing so ensuring a high CBI profile in the region.•Supporting the team in developing and running a calendar of member engagement events ranging from small networking functions to more formal seminars and black tie dinners.

I worked alongside fee-earning teams to grow business from the current client base and to develop new business by identifying and developing new prospects. As well as providing proactive advice, a key part of the role was providing active value-added support in terms of ensuring projects and initiatives were executed successfully whether by myself or by other members of the marketing team.

Working within B&I, Hotels, & contract catering companies to develop and maintain the Starbucks foodservice business.

The Business Development Team was tasked with promoting the region for the purposes of inward foreign investment.  My main role was to communicate the commercial benefits for foreign owned companies to locate in the East of England. This required a full understanding of the needs of businesses along with those of the region.

Based at Buckingham Palace, this was a diverse role assisting with and co-ordinating recruitment throughout the Queen’s Official Residences, Royal Collection Enterprises and Other Households. Typically this entailed being involved throughout the recruitment process, from discussions with senior managers about their needs, liaising with agencies and arranging press adverts, through to short listing applicants and carrying out interviews. Discretion and a commitment to high standards were essential, coupled with the ability to liaise with all levels of employees and managers, including training senior heads of households in interview skills
