Stephen Benson, a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in designing and manufacturing innovative aerospace solutions, is making waves in the drone industry. Holding a Bachelor's in Manufacturing and Design Engineering as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, Stephen is deeply knowledgeable about the entire design-engineer-prototype-test-engineer-manufacture-mass production process. With significant experience in prototyping, product development, overseas contract manufacturing ramp-up, production planning, assembly line layout, inventory management, and MES integration, he has a diverse set of skills that he honed at companies such as X, the Moonshot Factory, Google/Titan Aerospace, and Elroy Air. His strengths lie in complex system design, standard development and product data and life-cycle management, as well as project management and planning. Stephen is also known for his hands-on approach to fabrication and his impressive grasp of the impact of changes on the larger system.
