Jimmy Wang is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a diverse range of experience in new product development and project management. With over 12,000 hours of experience in SolidWorks, as well as extensive experience with Pro/E Wildfire and CATIA, Jimmy has expertise in conceptual design and layout, sheet metal, machined and molded part design, composite part design, and linear stress-strain analysis. Additionally, he has experience working with third-party certification bodies such as UL, CSA, and ETL, as well as administering SolidWorks EPDM and working with Enovia PLM.

After studying Mechanical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, Jimmy began his career at Avcorp Industries as a Mechanical Drafter (Co-op) and has gone on to work as a Mechanical Engineer at VAE Nortrak, Heath Tecna, Pacific Design Engineering, Industrial Origami, Bentek Inc., and ultimately nVent, where he currently serves as Technology Manager. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for designing for both assembly and manufacturing and has a keen eye for value engineering.
