Crystal Rutland is a versatile professional with a strong background in applied linguistics and user experience research. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Portland State University and has studied at San Jose State University and San Marcos Senior High. With over a decade of experience in various roles at Intel Corporation, including Customer Relationship Manager and User Experience Research Strategist, Crystal has acquired a wealth of knowledge on user-centered design and product development. She has also co-founded and held managerial positions in several design and technology ventures, including Particle Design and Empirical. Currently, Crystal serves as the Vice President of User Experience at Wind River and the Chief Executive Officer of Particle Design.

Throughout her career, Crystal has been actively involved in design research and strategy, with a focus on customer relationship and user experience optimization. Her expertise in applied linguistics has helped her develop a strong understanding of how language and communication affect user behavior and perception.
