Rik Cordero, an award-winning commercial director and video producer, has marked a successful 14-year career in all aspects of video production. Cordero started studying Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics at New York Institute of Technology-Old Westbury. He has received accolades, including MTV Japan Video Music Awards Hip Hop Video Of The Year nominee in 2013 and BET Awards Video Director Of The Year nominee in 2009. He was the HBO NYILFF Best Film Award recipient for his feature film, “Inside A Change." He has also garnered American Advertising Federation Mosaic Award for USMC’s “Where I’m From” Commercial.

Cordero has experience working in various media organizations, including his current position as Manager of Video Communications, CEO & Employee Communications at Cisco. He was a former Senior Media Producer at Duo Security and Cisco. He has worked as a Creative Director of Marketing Video and Senior Video Director at COMPLEX (dba Complex Media, Inc.) and as a Senior Video Editor at POPSUGAR. Cordero has also worked as a Freelance Commercial Director at First Wave TV, Three 21 Media, and Freelance Video Editor at Ogilvy & Mather. Before earning recognitions, Cordero worked as an Interactive Designer at Alloy Media + Marketing and 4Kids Productions.
