Chris Callen, CM-BIM, CM-LEAN

Chris Callen has made his mark in the construction industry through his innovative solutions to project planning and management issues. As the founder and CEO of Grit Virtual, he introduced an advanced construction scheduler that combined Critical Path Method (CPM) sequencing, collaborative planning, short-interval lookaheads, and work plans to eliminate inefficiencies plaguing projects worldwide. Grit Virtual gained massive popularity during his time as CEO and was later acquired by Construxiv Technologies, after which Chris joined TraceAir Technologies as the Head of Customer Success to help land developers and grading contractors make informed decisions on their job sites.

Before entering the construction industry, Chris studied Business Information Systems at The University of Kansas and graduated from Maize High School. He also held positions at VIATechnik, LLC, Dish Network, and Lowe's Home Improvement before beginning his construction career at Builders Plus Construction. He worked his way up to become the company's CEO and led the company in significant growth.

Chris has been associated with notable organizations, including TraceAir Technologies, VIATechnik, LLC, Theta Chi Fraternity, and Lowe's Home Improvement. He has extensive experience in project management, customer success, and information technology.
