James Griffith is an experienced Information Security Manager with a strong background in PCI DSS, cloud security, risk assessment, IT process engineering, and information security consulting. He studied Management of Information Systems at the University of South Florida and has worked in various organizations such as LBMC Information Security, MHK, Auditwerx, Skoda Minotti, 360 Advanced, DSS Inc., Xpedeus Consulting Group, and the United States Marine Corps.
At LBMC Information Security, James is responsible for designing and executing security programs and policies, conducting risk assessments, providing guidance to stakeholders, and leading internal and external audits for clients in various industries. He has also worked on several projects involving cloud security for AWS, GCP, and Azure, helping organizations strengthen their security posture on their respective cloud platforms.
Throughout his career, James has gained expertise in various standards and frameworks, including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA Security, HITECH, SOC 1: SSAE 16 and 18, and SOC 2: AT 101 Attestations. He has also been involved in the internal audit process, providing recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation.
