Paul Joubert

Paul Joubert is a seasoned professional with a diverse background encompassing financial expertise, venture investing, corporate governance, and business operations.

Currently serving as the Director and Audit Committee Chair at Ares Management, a leading publicly traded alternative asset manager with assets under management exceeding 200 billion dollars.

Previously held roles such as a Director at Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation, a publicly traded specialty finance company, and was a Venture Partner and Director at Converge Venture Partners, formerly known as CommonAngels.

Paul has extensive experience in the high-tech and venture capital sectors, focusing on seed and early-stage funding, and has been actively involved in the Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator program known as IDEA.

He also played a key role as a founding SPAC investor, Director, and Audit Committee Chair at Stream Global Services Inc, a global company offering BPO and customer relationship management services, prior to its acquisition by Convergys.

Additionally, Paul Joubert has served as a Director and Audit Committee member at Phaseforward Inc, a company providing software and services for clinical research studies, which was later acquired by Oracle.

Beyond his corporate roles, he co-founded EdgeAdvisors, a private management consulting business, and has a rich history as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led the Northeast Technology Information and Communication practice and served as the Northeast sales and marketing leader.

In terms of education, Paul studied Accounting, Finance, and completed an Executive program in Business Administration and Management at Dartmouth College's executive program.

An avid world traveler, Paul Joubert has explored the globe by boat, foot, plane, and motorcycle, showcasing his adventurous spirit and curiosity.

His other affiliations include being associated with Northeastern University, the Museum of Science, serving as a former director and executive committee member of the Mass Technology & Innovation Exchange, and as a Trustee of Sandwich Beaches.
