Ann Lee-Karlon is a highly accomplished executive in the biotechnology industry with an extensive background in drug development, management, and philanthropy. She is the current Chief Operating Officer at Altos Labs, a biotech startup focused on extending human lifespan through innovative cellular reprogramming technologies. Prior to this, she spent over two decades at Genentech, one of the world's leading biotechnology firms, where she led portfolio management and operations for the Research and Early Development division and oversaw more than 35 drug development teams in the pipeline as a Senior Vice President. Moreover, during her tenure, she served as President and Board Chair of the Genentech Patient Foundation, which provides essential medications to disadvantaged patients.
