Monica Saldivar is a rising music artist based in Dallas, Texas, with a background in music business, vocal performance, and music education. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business/Vocal Performance, and also studied at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Her talent, dedication, and hard work have earned her accolades and recognition in the music industry, such as being the "Top New Female Artist of The Year" at the 2019 My Tejano Awards, and a 2020 voting member of The Recording Academy.

Apart from pursuing her music career, Monica has also worked as a substitute teacher in various school districts and as a voice instructor at Richardson ISD. She has also performed the national anthem at The 50th: Honoring The Memory Of President John F. Kennedy, among other events. Monica Saldivar & The Band, the group she formed in 2018, has been gaining popularity and making waves in the local music scene.
