Leigh Brooks
Leigh Brooks is a multi-talented creative with a diverse background that includes graphic design, advertising, social media, and woodworking. With a BFA in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University, Brooks has honed her skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, as well as Procreate. In addition to being an accomplished designer, Brooks is also fluent in Japanese and German, having studied both languages extensively at Soko Gakuen and Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin, respectively.
Brooks has worked in a variety of roles throughout her career, including Senior Designer at NANOG, Owner/Designer/Maker at Xylochrome, Creative/Art Director + Designer at Self Employed, Digital Designer at New Seasons Market, Adjunct Professor Graphic Design at Portland Community College, Senior Art Director at McClenahan Bruer, and Senior Interactive Art Director at White Horse. In each position, she has demonstrated her expertise in art direction, advertising, and graphic design, among other areas.
Outside of work, Brooks is a skilled woodworker and metalworker who enjoys making cool stuff. She brings a unique perspective and passion to each project, using her creativity and technical know-how to produce exceptional results.
