Jane Hourigan is an accomplished Senior Learning Experience Designer, Solution Architect, Solution Consultant, Curriculum Director and Education Specialist. Jane is skilled in Design Thinking, Virtual Learning, Learning Technologies, Instructional Design, and User Research. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University, and has also studied User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) Design at UC Berkeley Extension.

Jane's professional background includes working as a Senior Learning Experience Designer in the Global Talent, Learning and Insights, Experience Design Studio at Microsoft, having previously worked as the Global Content Program Lead at Rippleworks, a Learning Experience Designer at NovoEd, a Special Education Program Manager and Instructional Coach at Oakland Unified School District, the Director of Curriculum at Girls Leadership, and in Community Partnerships at Educents. Jane has also worked as a Special Education Teacher and Education Specialist at Oakland Unified School District, a Corps Member at Teach For America, a Visitation Supervisor at Family Access Program, and a Behavioral Youth Intern at Youth Villages.
