Financial Services Leader at PwC Singapore, Asia-Pacific Banking & Capital Markets Leader

Having been with PwC in London for over 26 years, with tours of duty in New York, Zurich and 9 years in Japan/Asia-Pacific, I am now based in Singapore where I am the Singapore firm’s Financial Services practice leader. Across Asia-Pacific I also lead our Banking and Capital Markets business.I have specialised in Investment Banking since very early in my career, working closely with most of the key players in the industry, in both an audit and an advisory capacity. Most recently, I was leading the global relationship and service delivery for a major UK based corporate and investment bank.I am a member of PwC’s Global Financial Services Leadership Team, with a specific remit to ensure that quality is at the heart of everything we do. In my role I interact closely with various global regulators, as the environment continues to evolve following the onset of the financial crisis, and consequently I have developed a deep insight into expectations and the impact of regulatory changes being implemented.Passionate about harnessing the talents of all of our people, I am a member of PwC’s Global Inclusion and Diversity Council and chair a working group across our financial services businesses to ensure we always act fairly and in the best interests of all of our partners and staff. I am also a Male Champion for FWA Singapore (<a href="http://www.fwasg.org/).I">http://www.fwasg.org/).I</a> am a member of the Banking and Finance committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.Academics/ Professional Qualifications:I hold a first class honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath, with the prize for Advance Financial Accounting, and I’m a practising member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
