Mike Foley is a highly experienced executive in the fields of finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy, with deep knowledge in both the media/entertainment and technology sectors. He holds a Chartered Accountancy degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MA Hons in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. Foley was also granted a Doctor of Engineering (DEng) Honorary degree from Glasgow Caledonian University.

Before joining Google as Head of Finance for Emerging Hardware and Services, Foley served as Chief Financial Officer at Unity Technologies, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Electronic Arts, and Director of Corporate Development at Microsoft Corp. Foley also worked as an Investment Professional at Sovereign Capital Private Equity, Assistant Director of Lead Advisory (M&A) at Ernst & Young, and an Audit Senior at Price Waterhouse.
