Aimee Johnson is a senior digital marketing executive with an extensive background in customer-centric innovation, strategic branding, and customer loyalty. With a unique combination of classic consumer packaged goods training, P&L management experience, and physical retail/digital marketing skills, Aimee has played key roles in premier organizations such as Starbucks and Zillow Group.
During her tenure as CMO at Zillow Group, Aimee led a company-wide transformation initiative to evolve the Zillow brand from a customer-facing, search and find B2B ad business to an end-to-end B2C customer transaction business. She also spearheaded the launch of Zillow's first brand campaign during the pandemic, leading to a 43% increase in year-over-year visits, and resulting in over 8.2 billion customer interactions.
Prior to this role, Aimee held various leadership positions at Starbucks, including SVP Digital Customer Experiences, Vice President of CRM-Strategy, Loyalty, CRM, Analytics and Ecommerce, and Vice President of Beverages, among others. In these roles, she developed and rapidly monetized forward-thinking next-generation technology solutions, identified and met specific market needs, and built customer loyalty through consumer insights and analytics.
Education-wise, Aimee attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University's Pamplin College of Business, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing. She later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at The George Washington University School of Business.
