Adam Rifkin, also known as Panda, is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator who has founded three successful startups in Silicon Valley that have served millions of users. With a background in Computer Science and Mathematics, Rifkin co-founded Renkoo, KnowNow, and most recently, PandaWhale, where he serves as Co-CEO and Director. He is also the organizer of 106 Miles, which is a well-known technical entrepreneur meetup in Silicon Valley. Rifkin is also a former Director of Open Source Initiatives at CommerceNet and a former Research Manager at Microsoft.
Throughout his career, Rifkin has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation, distribution, evolution, adaptation, and synthesis. As a thought leader in the startup community, he has been featured in Wharton Professor Adam Grant's book, "Give and Take." Rifkin's passion for improving the world is evident in his pursuits and the desire to "smell good while doing it."
Rifkin received his B.S./M.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from William & Mary and pursued an M.S./A.B.D. in Computer Science at Caltech. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Rifkin worked as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard and NASA Langley Research Center.
