He has released his first studio album, "Freedom's Soul… the Revolution," which was recorded with live musicians in Memphis and Atlanta. Blanchard's music is a fusion of soul, funk, jazz, spirituals, and R&B, with deep roots in Memphis' musical heritage. His sound is unique and powerful, with an inspiring message that touches the soul.

He also studied health services and allied health sciences at East High School in Memphis, TN. Blanchard is the owner of BLANCHARD MUSIC GROUP LLC and formerly owned JB's Record Lounge.
Blanchard's musical influences include EWF, The Bar-Kays, Isaac Hayes, and WC Handy. He has performed on stage, astonishing audiences with his live band's performance, honoring Civil Rights icon and trailblazing entertainer Harry Belafonte, gospel great Lucy E. Campbell, and other legends. Break Bread Together, the first single from Freedom's Soul, is available on iTunes, and the album is quickly becoming one of today's most dynamic musical works. Blanchard's lyrical content is honest, practical, and relatable, with simple genius within the compositions. Blanchard's gentle approach to an old standard brings a fresh sound to the contrasting background vocals, smooth and rich, reminding one of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On."
