Laurence Peters
Laurence Peters is an accomplished educator, prolific writer, and an expert in global studies and reduction of educational inequality. He holds a Ph.D. in English and Education from the University of Michigan, an MA in Education from the University of London, a BA in English from the University of Sussex, and a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
Peters is a former senior policy advisor at the US Department of Education and has served as an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University. He has authored several books on topics that range from how to use the World Wide Web to increase global awareness to reduction of educational inequality in the US and worldwide. His latest book which comes out in October, "The United Nations History and Core Ideas," published by Palgrave Macmillan, discusses the UN's origins in time for the UN's 70th anniversary.
Laurence Peters is also the owner of President Edusolutions123 and President of Edusolutions123, Inc where he helps promote education and awareness by providing quality education solutions. He has also directed the UN-NCA Graduate Fellows Program and served as Course Director at United Nations Association National Capital Area. His experience as a counsel at the US House of Representatives has also given him valuable insight into policies and regulations affecting education in the US and worldwide.
