Rob Kallman is a highly experienced and skilled Senior Safety Engineer in the Defense & Space industry. He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science from Brown University and has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College. In addition to his impressive academic credentials, he holds certifications such as Project Management (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from Syracuse University.
Before pursuing a career in engineering, Rob served in the United States Navy, where he gained extensive experience and expertise in Combat Systems, C4ISR, and Marine Engineering. During his tenure, he served on various naval vessels, including USS Cole (DDG 67), USS STETHEM (DDG 63), USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6) and USS KANSAS CITY (AOR 3). He also served as Chief Engineer at USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) and as Combat Systems Officer at USS Cole (DDG 67).
After his service, Rob joined Raytheon, where he served as a Senior Systems Safety Engineer. Later, he worked as Master Training Specialist/Military Deputy, N74 at the Surface Warfare Officers School. Rob's vast experience in the defense industry has honed his skills, and he is skilled in Computer Science, Project Management (PMBOK), and Combat Systems.
