Michal Polanowski, a data science team lead, holds considerable experience in data analytics, machine learning, and predictive analytics, having worked with notable brands such as Disney and Lazada. Michal has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Consumer Economics/Market Research, an MBA in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Computer Science in Management, and a BSOE in Business.

Currently, Michal leads the data science team at Go-Jek Financial Services, contributing to the growth of the GO-JEK decacorn, Indonesia's first. He efficiently builds, leads, and develops the team to create the best possible work, resulting in satisfied drivers, merchants, customers, and stakeholders.

Michal possesses commendable analytical abilities in A/B test design and analysis, inferential statistics, segmentation, process automation, and big data, amongst other competencies. He's well-versed in software such as Python, R, SAS, Alteryx, Hive, SQL, and Scala, as well as visualization tools such as Tableau, D3.JS, and GEPHI. Additionally, he has expertise in Google Analytics, Visual Website Optimizer, Adobe SiteCatalyst and Test & Target, Qualtrics, and Surveymonkey.

Michal's professional journey also includes freelancing as a consulting engineer, instructing at the University of Georgia, and supervising residence halls at Wayland Baptist University.
