As the Lead Designer at Peak Design, Ive been responsible for shaping much of the direction our product line and brand aesthetic has taken. I started at Peak Design as the 3rd employee just after a successful Kickstarter campaign launched Peak's first product, the Capture Camera Clip. We've come a long way since then and we just completed our 6th crowdfunding campaign for the "Everyday Line" of bags with a 6.5 million dollar total. Making it the most funded photography or softgoods product on Kickstarter to date. In these 5 short years, our products have won multiple awards, received widespread international media attention, and Peak Design is now a major player in the photography accessories, and lifestyle/outdoor bag markets.Ive worn plenty of hats at Peak Design, but my specialties are: -Product Development: concepting, traditional and digital sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, pattern making and collaboration.-Design for Manufacturing: designing for a wide range of materials and processes, Setting up quality control systems, vendor qualification, part and product testing systems. -Graphic Design: advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and knowledge of production techniques for a variety of digital and print products including packaging, catalogs, marketing collateral, signage etc. Branding and the general look/feel of all our products and collateral. -Market Research: In-depth analysis or current and long term product trends, Intellectual property, consumer habits and user interaction. Finding holes in the market is a bit of a passion.-Product Management: managing and planning of current and future product lines, including how consumers, retailers and distributors interact with them.

Industrial Designer

Was involved with high end architectural glass projects from concept all the way though production and installation. Focused on the initial design of the jobs as well as detailed photo-work and typography.
