Lyndi Lawson-Smith is an education specialist with experience in product development, growth, and implementation. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education and Technology at the University of Edinburgh. Her interest lies in leveraging innovative or disruptive funding models to drive education agenda and exploring new ways of thinking about skills development in a digital world.
Lyndi has worked with socially-minded businesses and co-founded a microschooling start-up that provides alternatives to mainstream education for South African families. She is involved in a tech start-up that provides access to delivery services for the underserved African township and rural consumer market.
Lyndi's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Town, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and Digital Marketing Accreditation.
She has worked with several organizations, including PodSchools South Africa where she is a Co-Founder, Umuzi.org, Pragma, Red & Yellow School, Quirk Education, and Cape Union Mart. Lyndi has spoken, consulted, and trained in tech implementation, digital transformation, marketing, advertising, and skills development strategy in the 21st century.
