Kelly Hyde is a skilled planning analyst on the transportation team at Kimley-Horn. Her professional background is rooted in urban and environmental planning, and she utilizes technical planning principles and practices to provide guidance for research and writing of technical planning documents. Her work often involves federal-level projects and long-range development plans. Kelly also has experience in GIS data collection and stakeholder outreach for the development of a mapping tool designed to reduce conflicts for alternative energy sources across Arizona and New Mexico as part of a Department of Defense initiative.

With a degree in Master of Urban & Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Urban Planning from Arizona State University, Kelly worked on various professional projects. Her previous experience includes working with the City of Apache Junction on mitigating homelessness, water conservation for the City of Goodyear, and "missing middle" housing issues for Cave Creek. Through outreach, literature review, data collection, analysis, writing RFPs and reports, as well as legislative and policy review, Kelly developed and honed her expertise in the fields of planning, policy, and project management.

Kelly's career highlights demonstrate her excellent organizational and communication skills, including her ability to conduct stakeholder and public outreach, review state transportation policy and statewide transportation and community planning, and other areas of transportation planning. Additionally, Kelly worked in strategic management as an intern at Tempe Public Works Department, served as a showroom coordinator at TOWN, and gained experience in real estate as both a realtor at Roy Wheeler Realty Co. and Keller Williams Realty, Inc.
