Shannon Marie Riley is a driven Bay Area entrepreneur with a passion for art, design, and community building. Starting her career in sales and marketing, she later set out to explore her creative side, completing a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Communication, Marketing & Fine Arts, studying design at Florence University of the Arts and attending the University of New South Wales. In 2015, Shannon founded Building 180, a women-run art agency that promotes sustainable careers for artists and inspires positive change through art installations, productions, and curations. More recently, she co-founded and became Executive Director of Paint the Void, a non-profit arts initiative that commissioned over 150 muralists to paint boarded storefronts in the wake of Covid-19. Her focus is on amplifying artists' voices, cultivating collaboration and trust, and fostering communities that inspire novel ideas. Her expertise in art, production, consulting, curation, business development, and sales have proven to be valuable to fortune 500 companies and small tech start-ups alike.
