These apps leverage the SDN architecture to deliver higher effectiveness yet easier to deploy and manage for enterprises, service providers and telcos that operate networks and data centers.  The SDN apps provide enhanced networking capabilities that significantly reduce their costs, reduce time to service/revenue, and improve service quality to meet new levels of business requirements.I was part of the team that founded the company after wining a NSF SBIR Phase 1 grant to commercialize proven innovative research in the field of networking from University of Pennsylvania - School of Engineering-Computer Information Science.

Mentor to students of the National University of Singapore Overseas College internship program in partnership with University of Pennsylvania. Interns (many are aspiring entrepreneurs) work, for a year, at startup companies in the Philadelphia area while taking courses at Penn. My role is to advise them on their work, life in US and lessons in entrepreneurialship. On occasion, I get to help some with their business plans they hope to launch when they graduate. Very proud to have mentored about 40 students during the tenure of the program and have five of the mentees who did start their own company.
