Jonathan Sherman, MD, FAANS, FACS

Dr. Jonathan Sherman, MD, FAANS, FACS, is an accomplished neurosurgeon specializing in surgical neuro-oncology. With a background in prestigious institutions, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role as the Director of Surgical Neuro-oncology at the Eastern Campus.

Dr. Sherman completed his studies in Neurosurgical Oncology at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Following this, he pursued his specialization in Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia and attained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.

Currently serving as the Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and the Director of Surgical Neuro-oncology at the Eastern Campus at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Dr. Sherman has an exceptional academic and clinical background. Prior to his current position, he held the title of Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at The George Washington University.
