Seline Karakaya is a seasoned business leader with a solid track record in venture capital and private equity. As the Founder and Managing Director of Excelerate Global, she has helped companies at various stages of development to grow their businesses and raise funds. Her expertise includes everything from identifying strategic priorities to transforming organizational structures and governance practices.

Before founding Excelerate Global, Seline honed her skills as a Director at American Securities, one of the most successful private equity firms in New York. During her time at the firm, she co-developed the Shared Vision process for value creation, advised portfolio company CEOs on growth and talent management, and led several high-priority initiatives. She also played a critical role in the Firm's commercial due diligence efforts, conducting diligence for hundreds of deals.

Before her successful stint at American Securities, Seline served as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where she advised private equity, retail, consumer products, and tech/media executives on a range of topics from corporate strategy to M&A, change management, and growth initiatives. Her experience at Bain led her to become one of the original members of the Private Equity Group.

Seline holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business Honors Program, where she graduated with the highest honors in Business Administration, Strategy & Finance. She is also an advocate for children's causes in developing countries and animal welfare.
