Willis Towers Watson

Director, Communications and Change Management

I directly supported the CEO in all content-related areas, including agenda development for his executive leadership team and Board of Directors meetings and creation of internal and external communications (presentations, speeches, etc.). I worked closely with colleagues at all levels to ensure CEO was aware of issues, regardless of line of business, geography or function. I collaborated regularly with Internal Communications and the CHRO to plan and execute global and geography-specific messaging, both during and after the merger. On a number of occasions, I represented WTW and the CEO at select events and Board meetings.As a member of the Integration Management Office during Willis Towers Watson merger, I helped prioritize issues that needed CEO’s attention. I managed the transition of the Office of the CEO from Towers Watson to Willis Towers Watson as the firm more than doubled in size. I project managed the Client Vision work stream, helped to create our value proposition and supporting materials to differentiate WTW from core competitors. I worked with the CEO and other firm leaders at high-profile global and industry events, including the World Economic Forum and the annual Risk Management Society conference. Key responsibilities - Developed agendas and track/escalate issues for CEO’s monthly leadership and quarterly Board of Director meetings- Responsible for all communications from the CEO including speeches, presentations, and communications to clients, employees and Board of Directors- Worked closely with Investor Relations, Marketing and Communications to craft and review quarterly earnings announcements and analyst day presentations; partnered with Public Relations to help raise exposure of CEO and WTW in key media outlets- Core team for the CEO Circle Awards, a peer-nominated firm-wide recognition program. Chief of Staff to the CEO

I developed and executed Towers Watson’s social strategies while working with and training key stakeholders across the firm. My efforts showcased thought leadership and global expertise and emphasized growing quality traffic generated by social and increasing high-value actions on <a href="http://towerswatson.com">towerswatson.com</a>. I frequently partnered with External Communications to coordinate global enterprise messaging to ensure consistency of voice.I led a global committee to redefine and guide Towers Watson’s enterprise content marketing strategy. It included a comprehensive review of the content marketing lifecycle and recommendations for how to build focused and effective campaigns that extended reach of thought leadership. I also developed metrics to demonstrate how a cohesive strategy increases site traffic, engagement and, ultimately, sales. Accomplishments- Created and implemented a scalable social business training curriculum to help associates understand the impact and power of social business--Led training sessions to teach associates how to better leverage LinkedIn to support sales goals- Implemented new content strategy for Towers Watson’s social media platforms- Embedded social media actions into the company’s existing crisis response plan-Consolidated multiple social postings to one enterprise platform to streamline efforts and reduce risk- Started and authored a company-wide social media blog to educate associates about recommended platforms and usage

Director of Social Content Strategy

Developed global strategies and campaigns for Financial Services and High Tech industries. Early adopter and advocate of social tools; leveraged these platforms as a part of content marketing. For three years, I managed the global Human Capital Group Marketing budget at Towers Perrin.Global large-scale project management- Towers Perrin/Watson Wyatt merger:  managed the brand development process end-to-end, including coordination with clients, leadership and the external brand agency. The final brand was presented and accepted according to schedule.- 2012 Global Workforce Study: Coordinated development of collateral and messaging by key markets for a synchronized worldwide launch. Managed production of global report and all U.S. collateral. Spearheaded the use of infographics for Towers Watson; successfully integrated social platforms into research launch.- Relaunch of internal and external web sites: Under tight deadline, built agenda, training components and related change communications; created resource materials and guidelines for all attendees. Owner of SEO and social modules.Content marketing and social strategy- Implemented first-ever social media campaign, creating messaging to raise awareness of the study, resulting in heightened site traffic attributable to social postings. Social promotion resulted in 800+ preregistrations to receive the report; additional efforts continued to drive interest and report downloads.- Created social content libraries to showcase thought leadership  - Educated business leaders as they learned more about the potential and power of social and collaboration tools.Global Marketing associate engagement; learning and development- Led global team to identify ways to increase engagement within the Marketing team. Global Marketing

Member of a two-person team responsible for Marketing, events, and public relations for PC World magazine.  Areas of focus were PR and events.Public relations- Maintained and enhanced national media contacts database- Monthly correspondence with journalists and reports promoting each issue, worked with the media to place editors as experts in television, radio, and print.
