Mike Spear is an experienced organizational development advisor with a passion for helping purpose-driven organizations grow strategically, build culture, and foster innovation. He founded The Moonshot Collective, a consulting agency that specializes in advising mission-led firms. Mike studied American Literature and Culture at the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned a Master's degree in Journalism - News and Documentary Production from New York University. He was also a high school student at Torrey Pines High School.

Over the years, he has held several positions, including Founder & Host at Cause & Purpose, board member & advisor at Thrive Lot, advisor at the third half, marketing strategist at ASC San Diego, and platform evangelist at Classy.org. Mike has also worked as a freelance video producer/editor for various organizations, including Thomson Reuters and New York Post. Before founding The Moonshot Collective, he was the Director of Strategic Business Development at Classy.org.

In his free time, Mike is an independent filmmaker and has worked on various production projects.
