Dan Elton, a physics Ph.D., has an extensive background in quantitative analysis, programming, and communication skills, making him an accomplished and multi-talented data scientist. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in physics from Stony Brook University and his Bachelor of Science in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Elton has been associated with several prestigious institutions, including a data scientist at Mass General Brigham Data Science Office and a staff scientist at The National Institutes of Health. He has worked as an assistant research scientist, postdoctoral associate, Ph.D. research assistant, and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Maryland and Stony Brook University.
With a passion for spreading scientific knowledge, Elton spends his free time contributing to his blog dedicated to science and technology - More Is Different. While not working, he enjoys reading, running, and being an active participant in local meetups and organizations.
