Amy Y. Wan
Amy Y. Wan is an accomplished securities attorney and entrepreneur with a passion for fostering innovation in the fintech industry. She is the CEO and co-founder of Bling, a platform that rewards mobile gamers with bitcoin, and previously founded Bootstrap Legal, a legal tech company that streamlines real estate syndication. With a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law School and an LL.M. in Public International Law from the London School of Economics, Amy has extensive experience as in-house and outside counsel for numerous fintech firms.
Amy started her career as a Presidential Management Fellow in the U.S. Department of Commerce, where she served as an international trade specialist and worked on regulatory barriers. Her experience later led her to work as a judicial extern at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and general counsel at Patch of Land. Alongside her entrepreneurial endeavors, Amy is the host of The Law and Blockchain Podcast, a podcast by the American Bar Association. She has authored practice guides on ICOs and private equity, and has earned recognition from various outlets, including the American Bar Association Journal and LA Business Journal.
