Juliette Chevalier is a driven software engineer and educator with a passion for using technology to make positive changes in the world. She began coding with the goal of founding a political-tech startup but fell in love with programming and automation, leading her to a successful career as a software engineer. She is proficient in various technologies, including React Native, Graphql, Docker, AWS, Node, and Ruby on Rails, and she has worked on applications that improve efficiency and transparency in public services.

Juliette has taught programming to over 200 students around the world, both in-person and online. She has also earned certifications in DevOps and Scrum and has published articles and tutorials for national and international publications. Juliette is empathetic, curious, and open-minded, with interests in sustainable practices, learning new programming and human languages, and exploring the infinite possibilities of technology. She holds degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and she has studied Law and Political Science at the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua in Panama. Juliette also completed a semester studying abroad through the Institute for Shipboard Education, and she earned a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration from the Universidad del Istmo in Panama. Prior to her career in software engineering, Juliette worked as a Diplomatic Attache at the Permanent Mission of Panama to the United Nations, a Communications Coordinator Assistant for Semester At Sea / ISE, and a Youth Recruiter and Event Organizer for the campaign of Panama's Vice-President Isabel St. Malo de Alvarado.
