Kate Brodock is a seasoned entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and a prominent leader in the women in tech and entrepreneurship community. With almost 20 years of experience in the tech startup world, she has held various leadership roles in startups and is currently the CEO of Switch, a global ecosystem shaping the future of the innovation economy. Kate's work has garnered recognition from the media, as she has been featured in Fast Company, MSNBC, Techcrunch, and more. She is also an influential speaker, having delivered keynotes at several events, including SXSW and Collision Conference.

In 2016, Kate became the CEO of Switch (formerly Women 2.0), a platform focused on empowering women and underrepresented groups in tech. Kate has been a leader in this space for over 15 years, having previously led a global organization with over 60 chapters focused on women in tech and entrepreneurship.

Currently, Kate is a founding partner of W Fund, a venture capital firm investing in underrepresented-led tech startups. Additionally, she is an entrepreneur in residence at LaunchNY, a mentor for Techstars, and has held executive roles in several startups, including COO of Atribute, an EdTech startup, and CMO of untapt, an AI-driven tech talent marketplace based in NYC.

Kate has a diverse educational background, having received BAs in Political Science, African American History, International Relations, and French from the University of Rochester, an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, and an MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, music, and spending time with her family on their hops farm in Upstate New York.
