Yuval Pinter is a senior lecturer at Ben-Gurion University's Department of Computer Science, specializing in natural language processing (NLP). He has a PhD in computer science from Georgia Tech and is head of the MeLeL lab at Ben-Gurion. Pinter has a background in mathematics and computer science, having graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University. He also earned a master's degree in linguistics, summa cum laude, from Tel Aviv. Before his current position, Pinter was a research engineer at Yahoo! and a linguistic algorithm analyst and C# developer at Ginger Software. As a regular blogger at Dagesh Kal, a Hebrew linguistics blog, Pinter is well known as an expert in his field.
