Frederique Dame is a partner at GV, specializing in disruptive consumer technologies. Before joining GV, she played an instrumental role in scaling Uber from 80 to over 7,000 employees and expanding its operations to 68 countries. Her expertise in product and engineering led to the creation of efficient supply tools for the driver network and employee development programs. Prior to Uber, she worked on large-scale social products at Photobucket, SmugMug, and Yahoo. With a degree in Telecom Engineering and a master’s in Spacecraft Technology and Satellite Communications, Frederique brings technical knowledge and business acumen to her investment decisions. She has also served on the boards of Les Mills and Ubisoft.
