Amy Friedman, a nonprofit CEO and educator, has dedicated her career to helping children escape poverty through education. Amy has extensive experience in literacy, non-profit leadership, fundraising, and K-12 education policy and instruction. Amy holds an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language and a BS in Linguistics, both from Georgetown University. She has served in various leadership roles in Denver Public Schools, including Chief of Staff to the Superintendent and Teacher. Currently, she serves as the President and CEO of Book Trust, where she has leveraged her skills to improve the literacy rate among children.
