Pilar Lasierra Resa, PhD is a science-driven professional with a background in research and medical departments of the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular biosciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Master's degree in Plant biotechnology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a Biology degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She also attended Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where she studied Biology.

Throughout her career, Pilar has worked as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Amplity Health and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe and has held roles in Medical Affairs at Pfizer. She has also worked as a Researcher at the National Center for Biotechnology-CSIC and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Pilar is known for her analytical skills, goal orientation, flexibility, and social skills. She speaks fluent Spanish, English, and German, which allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. She enjoys adapting her communication to suit different audiences and circumstances.
