Eric Herman

Eric Herman is a seasoned professional with a background in media and communications, bringing over two decades of experience in journalism to his current role as Managing Director at Kivvit.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Eric had a successful career as a reporter, having worked at prestigious publications such as the Chicago Sun-Times, the New York Daily News, and the American Lawyer.

Eric's expertise lies in public advocacy campaigns, crisis and litigation communications, corporate communications, labor and employment communications, media relations, media training, and message development.

He has also leveraged his skills in government and public affairs, having served in Cook County government and as a Director in Burson-Marsteller's public affairs practice.

Eric holds a B.A. in English from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from DePaul University College of Law, underlining his strong educational foundation in both language and law.

Through his role at Kivvit, Eric has provided strategic counsel to a diverse range of clients including Fortune 500 companies, law firms, individuals, and non-profits, guiding them through sensitive communications challenges.
