German Vega, a UNC Kenan-Flagler Full Merit Fellowship recipient, has significant experience working with large multinational companies as a management consultant at Charles Schwab's Investor Services strategy group. He specializes in go-to-market development, cost optimization, financial planning and analysis, and operating model redesign. German is an MBA graduate with a career concentration in management consulting and corporate finance.

As a former Manager - Strategy at Monitor Deloitte, German redesigned corporate strategy to optimize firm growth. Passionate about optimizing operations, German is well-versed in Robotic Process Automation, Digital Transformation, and Big Data Analytics. He also served as the Executive Vice President of the MBA Consulting Club, where he redefined the club's long-term strategy and engagement tactics.

Outside of his professional life, German is an avid runner and a passionate guitarist. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, summa cum laude from the Universidad de Costa Rica and studied at Lincoln School for high school.
