Pengfei Song
Pengfei Song's journey of knowledge began at Tianjin University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She obtained her Master's degree in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at Michigan Technological University. During her tenure, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and Medical University of South Carolina. Later, she transitioned to Thomas Nelson Community College as an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and eventually transitioned to a Professor of Biology, Course Coordinator, and Science Club Advisor.
However, Pengfei is more than an educator; she's a multifaceted individual interested in business administration and management. To that end, she successfully completed courses in financial accounting principles and microeconomics theory at Harvard's Extension School. Pengfei has also assisted non-English speaking scientists with their scholarly manuscripts since 2007, editing over 130 articles that were later published in peer-reviewed journals.
Pengfei Song believes in hands-on work that puts science into real-life applications and seeing the sparkles in her undergraduate students' eyes, nurturing them to become future brilliant scientists.
