Ahmed Tigani is a distinguished urban planner and political strategist with vast experience in local and state government. Tigani holds an MA in Urban Planning from the City University of New York - Hunter College and a BA in Theater, Political Science, and Classics from the same institution. Throughout his career, Tigani has held numerous leadership positions, most recently serving as the Chief of Staff at the NYC Department of Buildings. He has also worked as a senior advisor in the Mayor's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and as a legislative director at the New York City Council.
Tigani's experience in community development and housing policy has landed him leadership positions in the Manhattan Borough President's Office and the Pratt Area Community Council. He is also recognized for his work as a campaign manager for Council Member Helen Rosenthal and Vice President of Manhattan Young Democrats, where he served as the education chair. Tigani's diverse career also includes experience in media coordination, production management, and event planning.
